A fantastic reception from students and staff at two schools helped keep paralysed fund-raiser Claire Lomas’s spirits up on the second day of her 400-mile cycle ride.

Claire, who is using a specially-adapted bike, which she cycles with her hands, is cycling around England, visiting schools and other organisations to help inspire them to raise cash for Spinal Research and the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation.
